2026 Drum and Drill Boot Camp is on!

Now in a new location!

How about starting a drum corps in your Club? Don’t have a wholesome and fun activity for your half-term? Want to make new friends? Would you like to earn a Drum or Drill honour to fill your sash? Want to push your skills further? Here is the answer: SEC Drum and Drill Boot Camp.

Two Drumming skill levels will be offered:

  1. Beginner - If you have never drummed or have just started.

  2. Intermediate - If you have already made good progress, but you are not there yet.

*Please note that the Drill honour availability is subject to the number of pupils who have registered for this specific activity.

Before we go, please notice the following information:

Attendance at the Boot Camp is by Club, not Individual. Further explaining, the child must be a member/members of the local club and must be accompanied by a local club leader/staff OR designated parent (over 25 years old + DBS, KCFS), subject to the normal counsellor/child ratio. The registration forms should be filled out by the Club director, and the Church board form should be filled out by the Church Clerk or Pastor.

  1. The Club staff/responsible adult accompanying the child must inform their DBS Numbers and KCFS dates in the registration form.  Make sure you have the written approval of the Parent, also the local Director and their church Elder/Pastor to accompany any child/children.

  2. The cost includes Accommodation, Meals and Drum workshops. Transport is not provided.

Duration of Camp: Sunday 25 until Wednesday 28 Oct 2026

Cost: £170.00 (full payment required by 19 October 2025).

Deadlines:

DEPOSIT: until 7 August 2026 

BALANCE: until 7 September 2026

FULL PAYMENT IN ONE GO: until 7 September 2026

Refunds Policy: 

UNTIL 07/08/2025 - 100% Refund. FROM 08/08/2025 UNTIL 06/09/2025 - 50% Refund. The last date to request a refund is Thursday, 06/09/2026. AFTER THIS DATE, NO REFUND REQUESTS CAN BE ACCEPTED.

The cost includes accommodation, meals, and Drum workshops only. Transport is not provided.
